This picture of lilac bonnet mushrooms at taken at Stebbins Cold Canyon Nature Reserve in Solano County, CA. Since it was almost sunset in a densely wooded area, a 10-second exposure and sturdy tripod were necessary to capture a sharp, well-exposed picture.
